‘Tigress’

  • Sir Ralph Millias, Downgate Sandhurst, Kent. V-12 Sunbeam engine said to be from ‘Tigress’ with a 1932 design Thomson and Taylor chassis. Used by Sir Millias as a donor car for his other car “Tiger”.
  • 1963 chassis hanging on the wall of Richardson MG Garage, Moor Lane Staines
  • 1964 or 5 Peter Morely. 1932 design Thomson and Taylor chassis fitted and ran with 24-litre W-12 Napier Lion engine mated to the pre-selector gearbox fitted for M Campbell in the 1932 rebuild. Raced at VSCC Oulton Park

  • John Merryfield, Henley in Arden. 1932 design Thomson and Taylor chassis supplied by Tony Jones and fitted with an original crankcase, radiator and other parts procured by Mike Lemon from Bob Roberts who owned the other chassis.
  • 1972, Napier Lion engine sold and fitted in the ‘Napier Bentley’ owned by Chris Williams who actively campaigns it in VSCC events.
  • Mark Lowther, Tring, England. A new spare crankcase was manufactured for ‘Tiger’ and is now fitted to this car.
